Hogar Housing Cooperative Society Ltd was registered under the Companies Act (Cap.486) Kenyan Laws in November 2020.  Hogar’s main objective is to enable its members acquire land and affordable housing efficiently by pooling resources hence enjoy the benefits of economies of scale. The common bond of its membership is staff within the international school’s industry in Kenya. 

Owning genuine land in Kenya can be an uphill task. Investors in some cases suffer loss land, cash or worse still both. Lack of ethical business, greed and integrity is a main concern. Land and housing is also unnecessarily expensive in some cases. To Mitigate these and many more challenges, Hogar housing was such established. To ease its members and the public the burden and the costs of purchasing land including affordable housing. 
By its third year, Hogar demonstrated great success, especially in reduced the cost of land. This has attracted non-members in purchasing its products; it now serves the Sacco members and the public willing to participate in its projects.
